Running a Remote or Virtual Tax Practice

About Course
A physical office does more invisible work than most practitioners realize until it’s gone — it signals legitimacy to a new client, it creates natural in-person oversight of staff, and it makes document handoff and identity verification almost automatic. A remote or virtual practice has to deliberately rebuild every one of those functions, or client trust, data security, and staff cohesion erode quietly without anyone quite noticing why. This course is not about choosing software (covered elsewhere in this series) or about client communication policy in general (also covered elsewhere) — it is specifically about the operating model of running a practice with no physical office: building client trust and secure document exchange without a front desk, running a virtual client experience that actually works, managing staff you may never meet in person, and keeping the practice running when there’s no single physical location backing it up.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT · NON-CE. This course does not provide IRS continuing education credit.
