About Course

A tax preparer’s job is to be correct. A client’s need is to understand what the answer means. Those are not the same job, and the gap between them is where most client-communication breakdowns actually happen — not in a technical error, but in a technically correct answer nobody translated. This course works through four specific places that gap opens up: delivering a result the client didn’t want, managing silence and delay without the client assuming nothing is happening, saying no to an unsupportable position without losing the relationship, and noticing when a helpful habit has quietly become a client expectation you never agreed to. It is not a course of generic communication tips — each module is built around a real tension specific to tax practice.
